The Fine Wine Exchange has a fundamental objective to create a system which relieves the private client of
any complications which often arise when selling fine wines.
THE COMMISSION CHARGE
Fine Wine Exchange remain purely agents for the seller and retain a commission of 10% for services rendered
in the processing and administration of the sale. Cellars in excess of £10,000 attract only 5% commission.
GUARANTEE
The Exchange is effectively a market place for private wine owners to reach, directly but confidentially,
potential fine wine enthusiasts. The Exchange acts as an agent administering and guaranteeing transactions as follows:
Once a purchase has been agreed, monies are collected direct from the purchaser and held on the clients behalf.
The wines are collected and delivered into our warehouse for inspection.*
Following satisfactory examination, the monies are transferred immediately.
* Larger cellars can be inspected at the clients premises.
